Mundo (2020)
19’
Chile / UK

World explores the widespread phenomenon of Evangelic conversion within indigenous people in South America through the case of Matilde, an elderly Aymara lady raising livestock in the highlands of the Chile-Bolivian border. It pays attention to how the landscape is reshaped for Matilde through the new evangelical notions, leaving behind her Aymara past and the way she related to the world.
